The Sr. Product Designer will be responsible for crafting the user experience across a range of digital products, ensuring that all elements of the user experience are optimized for usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, excellent visual design skills, and the ability to prototype dynamic user interfaces. This role requires strategic thinking and a strong focus on continuous improvement of product design offerings, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. Responsibilities include creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications; conducting user research and testing; analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience. Candidates must work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. A successful Sr. Product Designer should be innovative, detail-oriented, and able to lead design initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of new features and updates from concept to release
Strategize and implement user experience improvements for increased user engagement
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance the usability and appeal of our products

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role
Proficient with design software and wireframe tools (e.g., Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
Experience in designing mobile and web applications with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
Strong portfolio showcasing design work with a focus on depth and process
Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Knowledge of usability factors and user-centric design principles
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Bonus Points

Experience with design systems and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design
Familiarity with user research tools and analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.
Certification in UX Design, Interaction Design, or related field
